As evidenced by his artwork and life, Tom is very meticulous. When it came time to make prints from his pastel drawings, he sought out the best printing facilities and equipment in the region to have them made. He carefully selected the best quality paper which would give the most precise colors for his prints. After the initial proofs were available, Tom did not feel the colors were quite true to the original, therefore, he returned to work on-site with the graphic artists on several occasions to assist them with the correct color balance, saturation, and hue to make as exact a print as possible. Only with his eyes and intimate knowledge of the original colors, were they able to finally recreate the artwork with stunning brilliance and accuracy.
