Tom Stubbs died on December 31, 2000. Tom was practicing free diving, a sport where the diver goes underwater and holds their breath for the duration of the dive. Tom was leaving to Hawaii in several days to get training, and he was practicing holding his breath underwater in a hot tub in Mesquite Nevada when he lost consciousness and drowned. CPR was performed and he was being transfered for air-lifting when he was pronounced dead. Tom was very special to many people and will indeed be greatly missed by all.
If you own a Tom Stubbs Original I would like to hear from you! I'd love to take or get a photograph of your piece(s), include them on this website, and know where his works are. Obviously if you'd like to sell an original, please contact me as well: Click to Email Me Please.
At this time no original artwork is for sale. Additionally, the Lake Powell Print is no longer for sale as we have only a few left and we wish to make them available to his closest friends. We have a good supply of the Trout Lake and Canyon De Chey Prints available and so they remain for sale...please Click to Email Me Please. to order them as the online ordering system is no longer functioning:
We the Stubbs family greatly appreciated all the love and support we receiving from so many. Thank you.
